This week has been a week of milestones, celebration, and of course, writing! It has been an incredible week for all kinds of different reasons, and the flourishing of Blue Eyes book 2 is just a small part of that.
On Monday, I graduated from Coventry University with a First Class Honours in Journalism and Media. Three years of hard work and perseverance had paid off. It was an incredible day, emotional yes, but I was smiling throughout. Seeing the close friends I had made during those three years made the day even more special, as was the opportunity to celebrate with my girlfriend and my family.
Moving forward a few days, and I reached another milestone - a year of D. Burton Editing. As this blog post shows, it has not always been smooth sailing but I am looking ahead to the coming years with optimism.
You might be wondering how I have managed to keep on top of my writing with all that going on. Truthfully, the energy and emotion that I've had from my graduation and reaching a year in business has been channeled into Blue Eyes Book 2. I have been writing a lot more freely, and the story is developing at a rapid rate.
Let's keep that momentum going!
