It has been a full week since I returned to Leicester and I am pleased to say that my writing is still moving along. With the exception of Thursday, I have managed to keep writing every day and both my works are continuing to grow.
Blue Eyes Behind the Mask is approaching the end of the second edit, and excitement is building. Given that I started writing this novel three or four years ago, it has certainly been a labour of love, but I am confident with the new edits it will be another success. As for my new WIP, it too is progressing at a rapid pace. Twists and turns are being weaved into it and I am looking forward to getting this one out for the public to read.
In other news, I had an unexpected trip into Syston, Leicestershire. For readers of Heartbound, you will know that this is Davey Bardon's hometown. Walking through the streets and visiting the spots Davey does in the novel was a strange feeling, but a good one. The town itself has changed a little since I last visited in April, but it will always hold a special place in my heart.
All in all, a busy yet successful week. Here's to the next!
